If you could only have one "type" of coral, what would it be?

If you could only pick 1 type of coral for your tank, which would it be?

@mdbannister Daniel you know better than this crap. This poll is completely invalid and should be removed immediately. Putting a poll up like this and not including "Anemone" as an option is disgraceful. I'm reporting this thread to the mods.

So hard! My skill set is increasing but if I had to stay in one group it’s LPS all the way!

I'm glad that it isn't actually necessary to choose. Since my tank is mostly SPS, I suppose that would be my choice if I had to choose. Zoas aren't really an option for me because of fish choices, but Zoa-only tanks are spectacular. A chalice-based tank would be my second choice probably.

Lol, neon green Kenya tree.

Indestructible, looks great under actinics and white light, grows tall, doesn't drop babies everywhere.

If you disappear for work for 2 weeks, it's still there smiling when you come home.

That's why I chose softy, you get variety, hardiness, and economy. Inexpensive successes, acceptable losses.

See look at that amazing turnout already, it's me and one other dude/gal so far. I told you this poll was invalid without that option!!!!

I was torn between LPS and zoas, decided on LPS. When I first started I loved SPS, probably because it was the hardest category to keep. Now, a colorful stick with little motion just doesn't hold a tremendous amount of interest for me. Don't get me wrong I respect elaborate SPS tanks that have been thriving for years, but that appreciation is more based on the reefers skill level rather than the beauty of the coral. The most beautiful tanks I have seen are LPS dominated, hands down. Second would probably be a zoa setup that had 100's of different kinds of zoas/palys.

LPS for sure. Low maintenance, movement, great colors and low consumption
