If you were going to buy a brand new light for your reef RIGHT NOW, which one would you get?

It depends on the tank, the livestock, the budget, etc. Coral Care, Sky, Kessils, ReefBrite, ReefBreeders, MH, ATI T5s and more - they all have their place.

G5 xr 30 pros as main lights and Reef brite XHOs as supplemental, but I already have plenty of both lol.

Unless something comes out before I start my build, that set up is exactly what I plan on.

Currently have radion G5s over 2 tanks. Getting ready to fill a new SR80. I went with current USA for this one. Why? I can't get past paying so much for lights when I haven't cranked them past 50% of their potential. Also I'm not crazy about all the light bleed flooding the room my tanks are in. Bars seen to eliminate alot of that.

I went with Radions for 9 years and loved them. But the new format ( bluetooth ) turned me off, so I tried out the CoralCare gen 2 fixtures and am very happy I did.

I’m using Wi-Fi on my g5’s
