I've got one last freshwater tank left, and I'll be moving it out to the living room within the year likely once I put new floors in. I've considered going reef with it instead as it's already a drilled tank, and short of lights, and a gyre ive got everything on hand. What fish would you choose? Must be reef safe, and nothing aggressive. I have a 220 for those non safe fish

Sounds good I’ll put a * next to reef safe with caution fish
  • White tail Bristletooth tang
  • Yellow tang if the tank is 5 foot
  • Coral beauty or flame angel *
  • Snowflake clownfish pair
  • School of mollies, chromis or cardinals your preference
  • Watchman goby of some sort * (could in theory bury coral)
  • Melanarus wrasse *
  • A few other wrasse if you are so inclined
  • A fire goby
  • Mandarin pair once the tank is well established
  • A blenny or hawkfish *

I like some of these options for sure! I've got a few of those in my 220 downstairs, so I'd want o not double dip. I love the idea of a bristle tooth tang for sure!! I haven't had much luck with em, but keep trying LOL
