Yep I got the same feedback from a couple of my reefing friends and I'm now in the process of ordering some stuff again.

Vectra M2 barb kit (1 inch)
1" pipe adapter spigot x barb
schedule 80 reducing coupler 1" slip x 3/4" slip
1" gate valve (for the drain)

After 2weeks getting wet, tested today and still has some trace ammonia and nitrite. Nitrate at 1ppm. Will wait few more days and retest.
