So quick story… I participated in Innovative Marine’s free July 4th giveaway for a 100 INT Peninsula with white APS stand few weeks ago. I forgot about it and days and weeks went by. Well last week I found out I won! woot!woot! And today it finally arrived!

Not sure yet on the build details but I’ll try to document everything here. This will take a while since this is my biggest tank ever. I’m supposed to be a nano reefer but here’s to moving up

On a scale of 1 to 10 how much of a pain was the stand to put together?
it was actually pretty easy i think. the 2 sides with the 2 cabinet doors came preassembled so that helped a lot. so sturdy. and love the fact that the full bottom of the tank is on the stand and not overlapping on the front.

Congrats, I see you have other 3 tanks set up. Do you plan to combine or a brand new build? The dimensions are great!

Thanks. Yep "the" plan is to combine the livestock I have from the IM 30 and IM 20 into the 100 but all rocks and sand would be new for this build. Been battling bubble algae in 1 of the tanks and I will try my best to not have or at least really avoid that from taking over the 100.
Not sure yet what I will do with the 2 tanks. :)

So been thinking and planning the past few days/weeks.
Here's a list of the equipment I'm planning to use:

* Return Pump: Ecotech Marine Vectra M2 - 2000 GPH DC
* Skimmer: Bubble Magus Curve 7 Protein Skimmer
* Roller: RedSea ReefMat 500
* Sump: DIY 29 gallon (standard Aqueon I already have plus ordered a Fiji Cube Sump baffle kit)
* Powerhead/wavemakers: 2 AI Nero 3 (currently in the IM 30); thinking of adding a reefwave?
* Lights: 2 Ecotech Radion XR15 G4 on RMS rail (tentative. still thinking of what I'm going to do with my 2 Noopsyche K7 3)
* Control: Neptune Apex EL with Trident (currently in the IM 30)
* Doser: RedSea ReefDose 4 (currently in the IM 30)
* ATO: undecided
* ATO container: undecided
* UV: undecided

I just got the 60+ lbs of rocks and 80lbs of fiji pink/special grade sand yesterday.
Plumbing ordered from BRS and just shipped today. I hope I'm doing this right. First sump ever. Hope to have another update here next week.

so after a month I am now starting to work on building the sump and work on the plumbing. Hope to have more updates soon

Did not have the time to work on this the past few weeks because our family instantly grew from 2 to 6 .

Two months update:
I have finally asked our LFS to help me out with the plumbing. Otherwise I won't find time to continue setting this up.
Tomorrow is the day. And hopefully all will be set --------

Family update: parenthood is not easy. specially with 4 children. Thought of giving up the hobby several times but this still helps me. My tanks (saltwater and freshwater) have been neglected for the past 2 months but slowly trying to revive them.

Another update: Finally my LFS was awesome enough to help me jump start the plumbing for my sump. I bought too much stuff (and some wrong stuff) so I'll be returning the leftovers and get the ones I still need. More coming up! Finally!

Can't wait to see how this comes along! I just ordered the same tank last night but haven't been able to find many if any build threads for the tank ha
