Hey,

I recently set up a lagoon with the following:

Sicce Syncra 1.5 return pump (swapped out the stock pump)
Glamorca Nano gyre pump (In Canada) - or known as Icecap 1K gyre pump USA.
Hydra 26 HD
Eshopps Nano skimmer (fits perfectly into either one of the # 2 chambers)
Switched out the stock media socks for a couple of 3 chamber media caddies
Neotherm 100w heater

Like the above post; equip depends on what you're trying to grow.

Hope this helps a little

Follow my nuvo 25. I have put together a pretty successful ulns system using aquaforest.

Mines a play tank while I let my 120 SPS tank enjoy auto-pilot. I’ll also use it as a Frag, QT, and collection of zoas/LPS tank.

I went with the Kessil 360 and an Eheim (I forget the model) return pump. Using a basic heater. I’m also using my Maxspect Gyre 130 for flow but may reconsider for aesthetic purposes.

Keeping it simple as I don’t want a side headache tank while running my main.

Regardless of what you’d like to keep Corals, it also depends on budget. A Skimmer for a tank this small is optional. Simple water changes every week/bi-weekly will be sufficient IMO.
For lighting, and of the LED’s mentioned above will be more than enough.

Also running some of the inTank caddy’s will be a good idea. I have none but planning on adding a sock and one caddy for simple filtration.

I’d highly recommend an ATO. I’m using the Tunze 5017. The tank evaporates very quickly for me and I’m not always the greatest for topping off. So an ATO on a small tank especially is a must have.

Layout is a little ugly right now, but with Corals filling in, it should look good and simple.
