IM 50 lagoon build

Hey All,

I don't have any pictures at the moment, but I will be using this to document my reef tank. I had this setup and then moved states. Everything is currently in the frag tank waiting for me to not be lazy (and find a spot) for the tank.

The equipment I already have is

IM 50 Lagoon
1 Nero 5
2 Jabao SLW-20
2 AI Prime 16HD
1 aqueon Pro heater
1 Ink Bird temp controller
1 XP aqua ATO
1 IM Skimmer

I have a few fish and a decent stock of corals. I will be posting pics as I get started. I didn't last time I built this tank and wish I would have especially after the tank crash.

I like it, I have the Staxx rock as well. I don't do SPS. Just LPS really so I always have problems trying to figure out a good scape and flow that works for LPS all around the tank at all the different levels. I am going to try to remember to get a picture of the livestock I currently have lol

There is one on each side, all the way in the back, 4 to 6 inches above the sand.

I ditched the Powerheads I had as one of them died on me, So I ended up with an Ice cap Gyre 2k. It is really nice. So if you guys know anyone who wants a two month old Nero 5 let me know lol

Tank is wet with aqua scape done. Its nothing special at all but will upload pics later tonight. Clowns have been in for a few days with rock and media from frag tank and a bottle of Fritz.

Nothing much has changed, Other than my almost dead Favia coming back to Life. I have been trying to dial in my alk, dosing around 1 ml of All For Reef for now until I get it more dialed in and I can use my doser.

I did add a really nice FireFish that I never get too see.
The Frag tank has been turned into a Nem/Clown Harem tank.

Which doser did you decide to go with? Also, are you running just that one icecap gyre 2k for your main source of flo? Not counting the return.

I really thought he was a goner!
I am using the x1 micro pump for the doser. Well, I have it I haven't used it yet. My alk is being super weird.

The ice cap 2k is my only flow. And it's not even turned up all the way. I have a nero 5 that I will never use again. With the gyre I have perfect flow for all my euphyllia.

I looked at the bigger AIOs, I really want one.
I have enjoyed the 50 lagoon though. Especially after I got the flow figured out.
