I agree phosphates are playing a huge part but im having trouble bringing them down as well. Water changes don't seem to do anything NOPOX3 no changes in 3 days and I've just added the chemiclear blue to help out. I don't know what else to do at this point

Nopox isn't that good at lowering phosphate. Try some gfo, phosguard, etc.

NoPox is vodka dosing and not bacteria. MicroBacter 7 would be a good choice. Again- chemiPure blue will polish water and lower Phos and Nitrates. tap water is a No-no especially with added Phosphates, flouride and spores
okay what about bottled distilled, purified, or spring water as an alternative. I can't really afford to get into RO/DI water right now.

Get a couple of 5 gal water jugs and refill at walmart (much better than Tap)

Go to a water company and see if they sell RO water or RODI. Most of them make it and sell 5 gallon jugs for not much...it costs about $8 a jug here in Canada

Distilled water is fine. It was around a dollar for a gallon when I bought it.

A RODI will quickly pay for itself though… too bad you missed out on the cheap ones from Marine Depot though.

Chemi pure and no pox isn’t that cheap. I would think quality RODI would be the biggest best change and be cheaper over time then chasing your butt with all that crap while using tap.

Phosphate is going to leach out of rock and sand for a while even with water changes. I'd get some Lanthanum Chloride (phosphate Rx or similar) and use as directed until phosphate levels come down and stay down.

And how would that help?? Aeration is helping
From what I have learned from other reefers on this site, all the air bubbles may irritate corals. The air bubbles will collect on the polyps and can cause problems. For aeration you need power heads to agitate the surface for better gas exchange.

Looks like you don't have any powerheads or wavemakers, you need more flow (water circulation) and no air bubbles. I think air bubbles may help with algae growth.
