Water parameters are ph 8.0 sg 1.023 nitrates 0ppm ammonia 0ppm nitrites 0ppm. I have a time lapse video that shows how fast it grows over three hours but it won't let me post it. Anyway with the power heads on it grows closer the the sand bed. When their off it start growing long with bubbles on the ends and then they break off and float to the top of the tank. It grows on the rocks a little bit but nothing compared to the sandbed. I have tried once a week water changes I have taken all the rocks out and siphoned it all out and in just couple hours you can see it starting to come back. I have also tried a three week blackout and even then it still grows. When the lights are off it looks more like brown dust. But when the lights come on it explodes with growth. This has been going on for almost a year now. I have found a product called vibrant I'm thinking about trying it since nothing else is working.
