Well the problem is that I don't live in the US so any durability issue is a real issue for me because I have to send everything back to the US... I live in Costa Rica BTW.

My tank is 150X75X50 (all in cm) capacity 124 gallons and the sump is 100X40X40 (all in cm) capacity 60 gallons

I was thinking in this lights https://reefbreeders.com/shop/photon-50-v2-pro/

But I don't know how good they are... I'm attaching a Pic of my tank as it is at the moment. The radions you see are running on fumes I have to tweak the intensities to avoid a automatic turn off because of a corrosion circuit.

Thanks to all for the help!
Give the Smat Farms LED a look potentially. They're best with supplemental blue spectrum if possible, but they are super cheap and effective.

One of the nicest systems in the world runs mostly reefbreeders as does battlecorals. If you can’t grow coral with that fixture it’s not the lights fault.

Proof is in the pics as they say. His thread has many, many amazing pics of acro colonies grown under these medium budget fixtures.

Post in thread 'therman's 12 year old SPS system...top down shot, starting to enjoy this tank again'

Cant wait to get corals under here and see if I am able to grow corals like my crabgrass outside. Call Ecotech and see if they will help you before finding another company that may not even have good customer support.

just saying,
I have 5 radon's over two tanks closing in on 2 years old, and have never had a second through about them - CS has been solid, not outstanding on my MP's and the Mobius is all I need
Would like buy it again with another tank

I still think you need to tell us what features you want in a light. I could list a dozen but without knowing what you want, its hard to say.

some say the new Reef Flare Pro is fantastic!
Here in my area every vendor is kicking radions out and now selling reef flare pro's

2 years are no problem. I had this lights for about 4... But given that there are no replacement parts. You are forced to buy the next generation.

I will look into all the options.

Thanks

How long have you had the Radions? G4 have been out a while.
Maybe go for some used G5’s.

edit just seen you had them for 4 years, was that from new?

I have no experience with Radions but I have a reefbreeders 48 photon pro on my 4’ tank and absolutely love it.

@chipchipmofo

I have been using these lights for six months over 6ft tank. To start with, I took 3 "S" lights to make the tank mature. After half a year, I found these lights to be so good that I wonder if there is any point in changing to bigger lights.
I have a lot of equipment from Reef Factory and so far I am more than satisfied. It has already saved my tank 2 times! However, I think the lights are just brilliant!

that sounds awesome!
My friend is also very pleased with the lights.
Alot of people here in switzerland did throw away the radions and install Reef Flar Pro instead.. they are all more than happy.

The only bad Ive heard about reef flare is the dosing pumps and the KH keeper.
Somehow these seem to have some failures sometimes... Just what I heard from a friend had an issue with it.
