I said what I meant, and I meant what I said! Based on the state of your tank, or even on your experience with your tank as a whole...

From the poll the other day. Here I said happy, excited, confused. I mentioned "other" because the main issue is not knowing what’s wrong. I've been back in the hobby for about eight years and moved my tank 400 miles six years ago. I’m still trying to figure out what’s going on. Sometimes, everything seems fine, but I tend to over-test with my test kits and the Apex Trident. I do ICP testing every four to six months.
My phosphate levels (PO4) seem low, so I’ve started to overfeed a bit, and now they're at 0.12, whereas they used to be between 0.03 and 0.05. I do have a little bit of algae—just a few strands of hair algae and some signs of cyanobacteria. Some of my corals aren't looking great either.I replaced my ORP probe a couple of months ago, but my Apex keeps alarming that the ORP is too high. The reading has been rising steadily and is now above 520. Is that a problem?

I put happy and sad due to having to sell my 90 due several reasons but happy that I’ll still have a little slice of the ocean with my modded up BioCube 16. Here’s the little guy

Happy, excited and other. Other being obsessed. I don't put my hands in the displays but I fiddle with equipment, testing and additives daily. You can find just about anything Nano related in my aquarium storage.

Happy, proud, and anxious. Happy because it relaxes me and I would rather watch my tanks than TV. Proud because it is only 4 months old and I'm keeping acros and other SPS. Anxious because I just know something is going to pop up.

It's a 4 year old tank.

Proud that it's mostly working, I have a few large corals that are thriving, and it's not a failure despite being the hardest hobby I've ever picked up.

Excited because I think I've finally found the right combination that will bring me nutrient balance. This should give me much improved results.

Shame because I've done a lot of stupid things, and I feel like my tank should be way way way farther along than it is.

happy, anxious, and other for me.

im happy with the way it sits right now, but im also anxious at the same time. Anxious for what may come days/weeks ahead. I think Anxious more on the side of fish dying unexpectedly, and coral taking a turn for the worst.

my third vote is "other" - I am never satisfied with how my tank looks. I critique it like nobody's business. Constant work in progress
