In search of a good sump.

Looking for a sump that is decent but doesn’t break the budget. Around 250 $ hopefully less. What brands are good?

I currently have a reefer 250 but looking to upgrade. I have my eyes in a seapora 90 or marine land 75 gallon that are both reef ready and are good prices.

I'm a fan of used or DIY... perhaps that doesn't help you at all, but since you say both upgrade and good prices... that is a solution enabling both good prices but larger

glass plates from the local glass shop.
few tubes of silicone.
well under what you have to spend.

Concur with above. I prefer a glass sump over the acrylic ones that use clear or translucent acrylic. Depends if you like to do DIY stuff.

I have a 100g that will be used as a temp tank when I upgrade. Once that is done I was going to use it as a new sump for my 180. Do you have pix or a build thread of how you set yours up?

No pics. Its in a concrete basement raised a few feet off the ground. Manifold dumps into a filter sock that feeds it. In the plumbing below it I have a gate valve hooked up to another 100g stock tank for water changes at ground level. I have a jabao 10000 running at 45% hooked up which feeds my 210 display tank. It has a external skimmer and a ATO which runs through my kalk reactor. a 10g trash pale is used for fresh water to feed the kalk with a aqualifter with the ATO. 10g pale is hooked up to my rodi with a float valve set on a timer to run one hour a day.
