We are in the process of building a new home and wanted to share couple pictures to start the thread off. The build will consist of the main tank 425 gallon inwall mixed reef tank (94Lx36Wx30H) coupled with a 90 gallon (48Lx24Wx18) anemone tank. The wall to the right of the tank leads directly to the back patio that houses two water storage tanks for the mixing stations. I have 2x 1.5” pvc pipes leading from the water tanks to the fishroom (only 1’ away). A dedicated sink, electrical sub panel and 10 outlets are also added for convenience & redundancy. Final picture is of the 90 gallon as my main tank until current house sells and we move into new house hopefully by early Sept 2020.

Thank you for all your positive responses and will continue to add more pics as things develop. Floor drain should be completed this weekend so super excited about that. I do have a home generator in the plans but perhaps next year for the hook up. I am on well water and will have a water softener running throughout the house so RODI will be on overdrive for sure. Excited about what the future holds.....reef tank and steel stand should be done early to mid August . Not going to rush the build and going to run tank with no lights and just fish and rock work for several months. The 90 will be up and running as is until I can move some corals over when main display is ready. Then tie the two systems together .

Any recommendations for large sumps? Having a hard time finding a sump that is proper sized for over 500 gallon volume including main tank, Nem tank & frag tank

An MRC i Sump would be an excellent choice. It can be custom made per your specifications. I recently finished with the design for a sump and refugium for my current system and possible future tank upgrade. Good luck with your build!

Looks great!
What brand and model cabinet door lift/hinge are those?
What sump manufacturer are you going to go with?

I’ll get the name of the cabinet hinges hopefully tomorrow. As for the sump, decided to go with Advanced Acrylics hybrid version . Yes that was a plug for a sponsorship lol.
