Small update I’ve been meaning to do for awhile. Noticed today my frogspawn was slowly deteriorating and thought it might need to be moved. After removing from the rock I noticed eefw all over it. I seemed to have removed them all and the eggs as well. Time will tell. Hope it recovers and hopefully caught them in time before they spread.

Looks great! I just read through the whole build. Terrific job!
What white paint did you use for the stand and mixing station? I’m starting a small remodel of my basement sump/fish room and planning to include an in-wall display like yours. I love the clean look of the finished white stand.
Thanks for the inspiration!

Just ordinary oil based paint. About 3 coats if I remember correctly.

I was able to find time this morning to plumb the overflows/ drains. I used a stockman style standpipe with air lines silencers on my last tank and it ran dead silent. Not sure if this will run the same but we will see. Just an experiment.

Hello hello we're you able to get the Stockman standpipes silent?

Probably not. They are not as quiet as I had hoped. Think the reason is the overflows themselves. My last set up the intake for the pipes were under the water line. It was dead silent. But with the equipment room door shut the tank is dead silent. The ca overflows are nice as far as surface skimming and cleaning but not dead silent.

Silicone work was good. The bottom seams have an option. Clean finished or non finished.(smooth) since I like a deep sand bed I opted for a non finished bottom seam to save a few bucks. Over all quality was great. I’m happy with the tank.
