More goodies arrived today. My first thoughts on the 300int skimmer was holy crap this is big. Was worried it wouldn’t fit in my sump. And it didn’t until I repositioned my sump. Now I have to completely replan my plumbing and layout of equipment. I’ll figure it out though.

Following. I am doing a 240g (6' x 30" x 25" high) build (thread) and am at a similar stage right now but moving much slower. Had to re-do my basement slab to support the weight of the tank and to move the load of the house to new beams. I like the way your system is developing. Looking forward to watching it come together.

Ok here is the update I promised!Everything went very well except the unloading off the truck. The crate was to big to clear the hinges on the lift gate. But with a bit of studying we came up with a solution.

Congratulations! Exciting milestone. Tank room is on the same level as the garage? Next week we're doing this in my house. Removing an exterior window and a stair railing and building a ramp to slide it down from driveway into the basement. My tank is about the same size. Good luck with the setup!

No the tank went in the basement. I uncrated it and loaded it onto my trailer and drove it around to the basement.
