Im not even sure where to begin with this, we saw a bloom of this red hair algae a while back and tried to scrape it off and it wouldnt, so it got bigger and bigger, we limited our feeding, did some big water changes, and it didnt slow down. Now its everywhere and it literally wont go away, we just tried direct hydrogen peroxide on the algae and ITS STILL THERE not even the slightest sign of decay, this is now somewhat of a emergency trying to get rid of this, we just now started upgrading to a 75 gallon fishtank and would like to use most of the rock we have, since some of the coral in our biocube is attached and we like to keep it. And dont want to move much algae into the tank, we started microbator dosing about 4 weeks ago and we dose 5ml every week. At one point our phosphates and nitrates were at 0, we think at this point we have stopped growth but we cant get rid of it, it’s literally immortal.

Can't personally ID it for you.

Have you tried brushing it off? A toothbrush or fingernail brush will work on soft algae.
Pinching to remove or tweezers works on stiffer stuff.
Then use a turkey-baster to blow the rocks off followed by a sock change, and keep doing daily cleaning/basting until you can move from 1 to 2 to 3 days and so on.

Turking basting doesnt work, trust me we have tried it, we tried scraping too, im literally speechless this stuff does not come off at all, the snails just move around it and eat everything but it, they do manage to eat a little but they usually dont. We tried pinching it off, which worked on the long growth but not on the short.

Get a stainless brush and go after the shorter stuff after you remove the longer portions.
No way you can't win as most algaes can't stand up to a stiff brush.
Be stubborn and get it done.

as far as an ID from the pics it's difficult to tell, but maybe cotton candy algae?
