recently about 4 month ago I upgraded from my 20 gallon JBJ shallow frag tank to a brand spankin new Innovative Marine Nuvo 50 Gallon Lagoon tank. I ordered the tank from SaltwaterAquariums.com and cant say enough good things about those guys! I repurposed and furniture piece into a tank stand. I am running 10 gallon ATO, DIY Aquatop Chaeto reactorwith upgraded size pump, AI prime light along with a Kessil a160 Ocean blue, Jebao PP-4 wavemaker, Aqua Gadget Custom caddy with Pura Filter Pad, Purigen, Reef spec Carbon, Finnex Titanium Heater, Tunze 9004 DC skimmer and some times will run the tanks included filter sock. this is by far my favorite tank so far! Enjoy!

tank is doing awesome! Used reef hd to kill off the hair algae ice I've been struggling with for a year. Stuff works like a charm. Removed the chaeto reactor and added chaeto in the second back compartment with a great cheap water proof led from Amazon. Have the tunze comline doc 9004 skimmer running in the middle chamber and added a second stock return pump so running two of those.

the tank is doing good, the flow into the back compartments is not very strong though because I run a media caddy on one side and a stock sock on the other side. The chaeto section always gets kind of stagnant and I end up with slimy algae in that area. I was able to pick up an innovative marine media reactor for $5 and was thinking of pulling the cheato and just running some kind of phosphate media. The chaeto does grow but I feel it gets more dirty than it does any good.

The tank is doing well. The flow going into the back of the tank is not very strong though because I run a media basket on one side and a stock filter sock on the other. The area with the chaeto is kind of stagnat and always ends up with slimy algae. I was able to pick up an innovative marine media reactor for $5 and am thinking of pulling the cheato and just running some phosphate media instead. The chaeto is growing but I feel like that section just gets gunky and isn't really benefitting the tank as much as it should. although I do think it helps to keep my ph stable by having the light on reverse cycle of the tank
