I wanted something that was going to look like it was made for the tank, though. I searched a bunch of furniture sites. Stuff that was three times the price didnt look as good or wasnt sturdy enough.

Looks beautiful! Do you keep the flow high enough to keep the bottom clean or do you just vacuum it every few days?

I have high flow, but there is a spot under the powerhead that stuff settles. The nasarius snails camp there and eat everything. I dont even pay attention to it anymore. Those things eat everything.

Those caribsea things are too expensive. I used superglue and pieces that fit together well.

The stand is very sturdy. If someone would have told me I could find a strong and good looking stand from Walmart for $150, I would have laughed. 5/5 would buy it again. The only thing I cant see that might wear out over time are the little pins on the bottom of the doors that ride in a grove. If they get slammed a bunch, they probably wont last. Let me know if you have any specific questions.
