I’m treating me quarantine tank for internal parasites. I’ve been treating them for 3weeks to be exact and I still see some signs of white stringy poop. It starts off brown then turns white. I’m wondering if I have a medication resistant strain. Also I have been using the same medicated formula for the full 3 weeks. Does the medication break down over time and maybe that’s why the effectiveness has gone down? Does using garlic guard to make it more palatable cause the white poop as well? Thanks!

I make a new batch every 3-5 days. That could be part of your problem. I'm assuming you are adding it to flake food or something?

You could try fenbendazole if you think it's a resistance issue.

I’m adding the GC to pellet food. I thought GC binds better with porous pellets vs frozen food. I’ll try a new batch of meds and see if I can solve this issue. Thanks for the tips guys!
