A week ago I tore down my old 65g mixed reef and moved 3 fish to my new 6-foot system. This included a white-tailed bristletooth tang I've had about 2 years.

The 6-foot system is just over 3 months old and already had 9 fish in it. Bristeltooth has settled in nicely.

I was supposed to receive my 2 other tangs (a small gem and a small blonde naso) last Tuesday which is why I planned the tear down and transfer for that day. I was hoping to move all 3 tangs into the new tank together. Unfortunately, the vendor my gem and naso are coming from had an emergency last Monday and couldn't ship. So the new tangs come tomorrow.

I have an acclimation box that might be just a bit tight for two small tangs. It could comfortably house 1 tang for a few days but 2 would be pushing it.

Am I flirting with danger just adding the new tangs to a tank an existing tang has been in for a week?

vote flirting with danger... not just what you wrote but also quarantine for at least observation seems missing from your plan...
