My tank is nearly 8 months old now. So far my journey has been pretty decent so far. My soft corals growth has been very good recently, my lps is starting to do well and i have some sps frags which are looking better. My tank is a full mixed reef with anemones. I use red sea coral pro salt with elevated levels im wondering with my high softy growth rate will my tank benefit from iodine testing and dosing. Ive read that zoas in particular do better which i have a lot of along with most softies and lps/sps use it as part of the calcification process. I tend to do a minimum of 2 water changes per month sometimes upto depending on my nutrients. Any advice with iodine will be helpful as i know anything more than 0.06 can be dangerous

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

I am not convinced that iodine dosing is generally useful, but before embarking on dosing, it's worth measuring the level to see if it is low.
