Greetings,
Just wanted to share a picture I took of my little guy on my iPhone.

I am thinking of picking up a Nikon d3500 on the BF sales that are coming up.
Would this be a good entry camera for DSLR?

Gotta put a word in here for @bubbaque as his photography is stunning. He uses both a nikon and a cannon I believe. I cannot remember the numbers, but he goes into some details about it in his build thread :)

*EDIT* Fixed my insanely run on sentence

I would also look into mirrorless cameras. I don't know what your price point is but they are lighter and so feature rich. I am not a camera pro but from looking into cameras looks like people are moving away from DSLR to Mirrorless.
