my reef is one years old
My rock have some sort of small hair algae on it and it seem to stop the coraline growth

I need to clean my vortech pump often they get a lot of algae on it

There is no outbreak but is this algea normal ?? Will it go by it self

I run gfo and gac have a good skimmer 3 time my tank volume

Good light 8 bulb ati p’us 2 reefbrite

My test salifert read 0 nitrate all the time

I do not feed a lot
My fish and when I want to make my nitrate go up this algea go crazy lol !!

Looks like the beginning of green hair algae to me. Do you have snails in the tank to eat it? Even if your test show little to no nutrients, it can still grow.
