Is it safe to drill a red sea reefer stand?

Specifically the cabinet divider in the middle of my Reefer 350 stand. I currently have the tank running and want to mount my Dos on the divider with screws. I don't believe the divider bears much if any load but wanted to check with everyone here first

I hope so, this is a 6’’ circular saw hole I put jn the center divider to run an optical ATO sensor. RSR 350

Did you drill it? I am considering doing the same to my 650 peninsula to run a half inch tube for a skimmate locker.

Sure did and nothing bad happened. Just take it slow

I have a Reefer 350 and I have components mounted with screws all throughout the inside of the cabinet on all sides. Shouldn't be an issue.

Bit late to this but, I have a P650 and did exactly this for my Avast skimmate.

Has anyone drilled the end panel of a P650 or similar large stand model? Would like to pipe in a second 25g tank but would need to make three 3/4" holes!
