Greetings. Planning my build and I am considering using a commercial structure (either a ship or ruins) to tie into my NSA rock structure. I will likely have a few corals on the structure also. Wondering if anyone has done something similar? Does anyone know what I should look for to make sure the item I buy is going to be safe for my tank?

If it’s meant for aquarium use, no problems.

I use a lot of plastic skulls and bones in mine. My lfs loves doing a Truck Island tank with WW2 planes and such.
A small aside is that I bought some pirate arm/hand type decorations from a tank manufacturer that claimed to be saltwater safe and after tearing down my tank for a move realized that it had metal rods holding it together. Not good.

Thanks for the reply and info. I am assuming what I want to buy is resin based somehow. Not sure how they get columns, roof, and floor out of one mold but it looks solid with no seams. These are what I am thinking right now (one or the other not both) the also have a really cool pirate ship but the holes are way to small for fish and cleaning.
