Hi,

I have fallowing lighing schedule for ATI Dimmable 6x36' + Reefbrite XHO.

Both channels:
08:00 ON
08:20 10%
09:00 30%
09:30 50%
10:00 100%
17:00 50%
17:30 20%
18:00 OFF

Reefbrite:
12:00 ON
20:00 OFF

It'll be mixed reef.

Any advices? Can I make it any better? Dimming won't reduce bulb life and wear out the controller?

Thanks

With it being a mixed reef the channels look good. And dimming won’t reduce the bulb life. Everything looks great.

Corals always will adapt to lighting..as long as it's not too strong for them. 100% of both channels sounds like overkill...I have never used that high on any of my light sources (I've had four diff models) corals respond better to more blue and full spectrum lighting then just day light. Unless u like the white wash look, I would go 50% on your whites at max

Strange, but at 15:00 both channels are on 60% and slowly decreasing by 1%.

So, to fix that I added:
16:50 100%

Is that normal?

Running t5’s at full strength isn’t overkill. Literally tens of thousands of people have been doing that for decades in this hobby

If 10 hours is your photoperiod, I would run them at 100% for this whole time... or at least 9 hours of it.

I would just use the XHO when you want to look at the corals - it will not add anything that the T5s are not giving in droves to help with growth or coloration. ...so turn then on before you get home or whenever you normal viewing time is.
