My tang has been in QT for about 2 weeks now. I noticed some discoloration on his sides. It doesnt appear to be ich as the spots are kinda like lines. But im new to this and could just be wrong. He's eating fine and no other signs of anything. The 2 clowns in there with him dont have any sign of anything either. Sorry for the bad photo, hes very shy and ran away any time he saw my phone.

These are all on the fish. So glass is dirty just did a water change and had to remove all the hiding spots to get a decent pic.

Looks like lymphocystis which is associated with poor water quality and diet or both
Assure to provide good water quality
Feed at minimum:
LRS herbivore diet
Formula 2 flake and frozen
Mysis shrimp s
Spirulina brine shrimp
Nori seaweed basted with garlic extract
Add selcon vitamins and garlic extract to the foods for stamina and immunity health

is that the primary way of treating it? I have 2 clowns in there with him, should I be worried about them too?

Pellets won’t cut it and w I’ll eventually lead to a vitamin deficiency

It’s viral. They fall off by themselves as long as conditions are good and fish is healthy

Ok cool, ill vary the diet based on what you have suggested. Theres no sign of it on my clowns so far. How long should I QT the fish for these symptoms? Theyre already in QT and have been for about 2 weeks.

You have hiding spots for them, can’t see the whole QT.
Theres 2 3" pvc pipes in there. He hides every single time anyone walks in the room. I took them out to get that second pic but put them back in.
