I got some polyp booster from Polyp Labs to try out and it says it's ingredients are:
Amino Acids (60% dry weight)

Fatty Acids (20% dry weight)

Astaxanthan Pigments from natural sources

Would this take the place of something like Acropower?

I don't use it but I believe it is supposed to trigger a feeding response with corals. It has aminos but it is in a very small bottle so I would say it will not take the place of AcroPower. I use AP, and love it.

OK, I will continue with the AP. How can you tell AP's effect?

Honestly, I run a fairly low nutrient system and my corals are very happy with my amino supplementation. Acropower works really well or any aminos for that matter with LNS..

I add some weekly in addition to using Acropower. Just trying to assure the SPS mainly get their requirements.
