Hi All, I have just got live rock from a tank shutdown near me and am fallowing it for ich. Is there a temperature that pests can no longer survive that I can heat my bin to in order to kill them off? I have read that beneficial bacteria actually survives at quite high temperatures so I am not worried about that.

They are like roaches, they survive anything. I had a sump outdoors last week with a little water in it and sat in hot sun.
When I emptied it to box it, there were 2 bristles in there very alive. The water was very warm
