I'd like to replace the stock sump on my RSR 250, without redoing plumbing. Is there, or can you fashion a sump that would replace this sump and be Triton friendly?

One option would be the reefdreamers baffle. Splits the main chamber of the sump into two sections and allows for a fairly large refugium.

Sadly they have been out of production for some time. I have a DIY solution for now, but long term I probably would like a custom sump. The RSR sump leaves much to be desired IMO.

@PiscesPower actually yes. We have a TS26 - 26 x 15x 15 that will work as a direct replacement for the RSR 250. We haven't put them on our website just yet but we have started production of them.

Jumping in on this thread, do you have one for the RSR 350 as well? :)

What kind of plumbing would need to be done from a Reefer 250 to this?

You asked the question I was going to ask. I was looking for a direct replacement, without having to hard plumb.

You can transition from the RSR pipe to PVC. The sump uses 1"

Some plumbing will be required in any case. It is simple to modify it to work with the stock pipes.

Do you think that the sump will be to close to the right wall for me to put my apex power bar there safely?
