It would be cool to get a living white acro with colorful polyps entension. I am not talking about pale or bleached dying ones.
Then again, I guess it is impossible to find one.

Look up Fire and Ice echinata. Not exactly white, but pretty close, depending on the colony.

Yup! I’ve personally seen this colony in the flesh. It’s white, and really nice. In my tank, however, it’s yellow but the new growth is this color. His colony is super white.

Wow that carolinia is stunning with red polyps, first time seeing that color on that species.

Trust me, if I had T5, I think I could maintain that color. Mines this cool yellow, but nothing like that pure white IRL in his tank.

I've seen tenuis with the same white with blue tips as the Ice Fire. The white with blue tips tenuis was very common years ago.

I had to look past a lot of echinatas before I found one with a lot of white skin.

My current colony........It's hard to show in pics but the blue and white contrast is beautiful and much brighter in person.

My white whale.........Cwards Milli. I kick myself everytime I see these pics as he was giving away chunks of this back when he had his tank running and I never made a point of getting a piece.

Lighting does play a role in how much white you can pull from a coral in reference to the spectrum/intensity as well as how much blue you run. If your'e running one of those all blue view tanks all the white will have a light blue reflection to our eyes and mutes the contrast.

I have this one which is predominately white with red polyps (although it is adding color in the year that I have had it). I have no idea what it is though.......if anybody knows, please tell me :)

About 10 years ago- the white with blue polyps acro... no idea what it was called but I bought the lot from Vivid, hope that helps... IMHO your best bet is and from ASD, I've seen several white with blue polyp or blue tip- not Ecninata's either.

Interesting Topic (White Colored SPS)........Coincidental too.

I was at a local Coral Store and lots of variety SPS colonies, but one stood out.
From a distance I thought it was DEAD Skeleton/Bleached White COLONY.

However closer up I could see it was healthy and Thriving since plenty of Polyps and tentacles flowing in the Current.

Due to the very White Color and Polyps, it kind of had blue Tips from the Blue lighting.

I got a Fresh Cut Frag and just mounted it in my Tank a few days ago.
It's really white viewing with my eyes. I see the white tentacles, but no color in my Tank.
This is it. Under White lighting. Nothing like I've ever seen before. Stands out from all my other SPS Frags.
Polyps extended Day and Night.

From my (bad memory) the name I remembered the owner tell me...is REEF RAFT ELECTRIC SHOCK Acro.
Maybe I got the name wrong, since I can't google anything for that name. Maybe Shock...Something?

It fully alive since under Actinic Lighting it's Polyps Glow Green all over Like Below

Does kind of look as if Electric Shock would be an appropriate name.

I'll be dropping by Store again to find out the proper name.

BTW. FYI.....I've tried 3 attempts to keep an Ice Fire Enchinata . A beautiful Green Enchinata. None made it long term. Sensitive Coral. A friend of mine can successfully grow any SPS, but no luck with Ice Fire Either.
I might try again since they are beautiful SPS, but for now won't waste my money killing them.

I actually keep my last Ice Fire Enchinata out on display as a memory to not get anymore for a while.

Nice and ALL White.
