Is this a sponge? - the light blue hex structurething just to the right of the powerhead.

@rahusky do you got it already like it is, and the other question is, is it soft on touching by hand or is hard rock like structure ?
Asking, because I have LR from unknown corral, which is blue like your one and similar structure, and when it was covered by coralline algae, some patches on it was looking like your one at the moment

But why is the rock blue and orange? Must be the lighting. Also that sponge isn’t just blue it’s straight up rainbow. Curious what it’d look like in bright whiter spectrum light.

Agree, the light is very important most of the time and white is the best.
The blue LR I have have red coloration similar to this it look like rust on it.

Have a look, that one I'm talking about, it's completely dry and all the blue and rusty red like is completely the same LR

It is very thin on the rock so it is hard to say if it is soft or hard. I kicked up the white light - not sure if this is a better picture or not. I can definitely see striations up close. It will be fun to see if it grows.

that way it look like a coral to me :)
Or actually dead / bleached coral skeleton and it come blue because of the light

Married no, but leaving with mi fiancee together since 10years ago. And the room in which is the tank, and all the stuff around is my personal room only for my stuff, so she isn't bothered about what's in ;)
