Def not a starry blenny.

While they do change color on a whim, they never look all black.

Starry Blenny is such a great fish! Mine is a family favorite b/c he looks right at us... and perches on rocks starring at us. Dfn starry blenny is AWESOME!

No I've been trying to catch the fish but I can't. It's too much work. :/

The only way you are likely going to catch that fish is if he has a rock he always hides in and you can get that rock out of the tank with him in it.

That was my experience with this species as well.
