Cover it in super glue or expoxy immediately or remove the piece it is on. Smothering it is your best option. Just don't mash it

Removing it wouldn’t work cause it’s attached to one of the dead stalks of my torch

You have to be careful when your killing aiptasia. If your using epoxy or super glue, make sure to cover there whole 'mouth' with it. When they feel threatened they will spew babies out of the mouth. They will float off and multiple. Aiptasia are like hyrda, kill them wrong and they grow another head on you.

When I first inherited my tank it was covered in aptasia, every square inch of open rock was covered. Had some of the biggest stocks I had ever seen. Threw a Chaetodon kleini in there. Knocked it out in a few weeks. Tank is still spotless.

I actually enjoy my weekly Aptasia X murder spree. There is no getting rid of them. The name of the game is control. I like Aptasia X. You give them a little squirt and in a few seconds they implode in front of your eyes. It's highly satisfying.
He’s probably setting up a tank for just these!
Then he will bomb the crap out of that tank!

After, you can see that hard-working fish. She's hanging out right underneath the pink montipora on the right. She's the hardest working fish in my tank.Chaetodon kleini, sunburst butterfly fish

You guys remember back in the day when there was only the wand thing? Where you just electrocuted them but it could also harm your tank too if you ran it to long?
I had that... I remember paying like $150 for that stupid thing.

Feeding it worked for me, will say I never tried the kalk trick, someone should video it!
Or send me this fake anemone and I’ll be the mad scientist.

Dang!!!! To bad people didn’t buy them, you’d be about five dollars richer!

Don't try and kill it via kalk or aiptasia x it will cause it to spread. Simply glue or epoxy them as soon as you see them. They are a pain
