I’ve been battling red cyano in my tank for about a month. I’ve done a lot to improve the water quality in my 3 month old tank.

Pointing my return pump towards the surface, buying two wave makers for added water movement, and adding a RODI system.

Two days ago I used a product called Chemiclean. Wow what a difference! I feel like I have a new tank again.

I’ll be changing 20% water today.

But I have little clumps left on my soil, can anyone identify? Is it hair algae?

Bryopsis, if you only have those spots can try manual removal. Fluconazole is also a popular product for bryopsis but read about it as folks have reported some negative effect on reef.
