Is this the start of the ugly phase?

I noticed this brown stuff showing up on the glass and just been cleaning it off when I see it. Then I noticed that it’s on a power head and my magnet scrubber. From what I have searched- I assume this is diatoms? I dosed Vibrant a couple weeks ago before I added the corals. Was thinking about doing it again. My tank is about 2 months old

Stop dosing vibrant first of all.

Second , be patient and let it happen, yes diatoms

Stop dosing? Was there a specific reason? Just curious to learn. I’ve been all over the forum and didn’t see much drawback other than a few had a bad experience from it.
As far as let it happen- I just have a tough time with letting the algae spread like that. I’ll keep cleaning it off as long as I know it will just run it’s course. But my ocd can’t look at dirty spots
