Is Wellsophyllia just a type of Trachyphyllia?

So I was watching the Tidal Gardens video on Trachyphyllia, where they said that Wellsophyllia is a morphotype of Trachyphyllia, and not a distinct species. However, an (unsourced) comment said that in 2016, scientists brought back Wellsophyllia, and it's a distinct genus again. So, any scientists here? Is it now officially a separate genus? Two different species in the same genus? A subspecies?

I am pretty sure there is just one genus now- Trachyphyllia... The Wellsophyllia radiata got turned into Trachyphyllia radiata, and the previous Trachyphyllia geoffroyi has stayed the same. I spent a bit of time researching the difference between the two species but couldn't find much. Most information is unclear and confusing. There is something about one being more folded than the other, and the radiata having a flatter skeleton than geoffroyi, but idk... Any experts have ideas about this?
