Washing the screen after cutting a larger notch for the two gyre cords:

That's a significant amount of flow you have going on in there. Are you having any issues with your sand bed getting blown around?

I can see it now, as soon as Mr. Foxface opens his mouth to spit he'll be blown up like a puffer.

Surprisingly no sand is getting blown around. I suppose the flow is coming from that far end of the tank at near to the surface so the gyre is losing force near the sand bed on the opposite end. But I'll see how it works out today.
