Did you consider a manifold to hook up other equipment (reactors)? I can't wait to set my tank up

Hey that's cool. Looks like a Trigger Emerald sump. I should get that for Christmas. That's sweet.

Sweet setup dude, got a bunch of ideas for mine. If possible can u post inner dinension on the stand where sump goes.

I know the Trigger Ruby 30 sump definitely fits.

The picture you have is showing the Trigger Emerald 34 --- but that shouldn't fit into the Cadlight Artisan II stand. It's too wide.

The stand is 34" wide but within the support columns. There is no way to fit that Emerald 34 into there...the gap between the back and front support columns is 14". The Trigger Ruby 30 is a perfect fit.

Should I even bother upgrading the sump, what do you think?

Definitely YES. I'm all for the thick glass displays, but the sump should be acryllic. Especially the Cadlight glass sump. It's barely a standard 1/4" thick glass, and I'm always worried the seams are going to bust or I'll crack the glass by accidently dropping the M1 or the skimmer...

No question, get a decent sump so you can bang it around shuffling things like ceramic blocks, rocks, scrubbers, refugium lights mounted on the edge, etc. I cringe everytime I bend the arm of my fuge light.

4 Rainbow Bubble-Tips Sitting On A Rock...

Nice video. Your nems look great and the tank looks nice and healthy. I have 4 clowns and always wondered if I should get an anemone. I have two snowflake clowns who've hosted my open brain coral. Looks weird. Love the way your tank looks. Great job!

Will it have room for anything else or it's just a sump in there
Like an automatic top off unit or dosing containers

No room for an ATO Container, as you see in the picture. I have a little bit of room on the front and back sides of the sump for some equipment (Reactors, Wires, etc) but def not any containers.

Full take shot for January 17, 2018. I've changed my filtration methods a bit for 2018.

Changes :

· removed filter socks
· carbon dosing NoPox for 2 months now, may switch to DIY NOPOX.
· upgraded my refugium light to a Kessil A80
· refugium is on 24/7 now
· 20% water change once every 6 weeks - ph, temp and salinity matched to dt.

And 1.5 (5lbs) of raw Soda Ash. I'll use this to match my Ph with my water change water.

I'm too lazy to bake Baking Soda, and this was actually cheaper on Amazon.

I would use it to raise the pH to match my DT water in order to avoid any stress on the corals.

I'm maneuvering to start keeping some SPS.
