Island ok for magnificent anemone?

Wanting to have this great anemone in my new 200g tank.

Does the top need to be smooth or have recess for the foot.

Mines not on a smooth surface, it's on a piece of dead thick branching coral. My mag hides it well and can't simply move over onto anything else not even the back glass. I put it on the branching coral and it stayed there, not moved since.

Mine seem to prefer “flat” and “smooth” surfaces. Having distinct ledges will also discourage them from wondering. But lighting and flow are far more important for mags than if they’re on a good shelf rock or not.
