I have an RSK 300 that I've had about 1.5 months and although there's a few things I like about it but I am about this close to chucking it out of a window.

1.
It's a crazy microbubble machine and nothing I've done seems to be able to fix it so far.

2. I can't get it to consistently skim at all. I think if I dial the air down a bit I might be able to get better bubble formation/more solid foam. The problem is the air line appears to be 8mm / .33" ID. I'm trying to find a needle valve to fit it.

If I can get more consistent skimmate I may consider keeping it and continue to try and find a way to eliminate the microbubble issue.

The skimmer sits in 7.5" of water in a 100 gallon system volume with moderate to heavy bioload.
