Oh, I didn't even know that. This is a Huge honor. I am beside myself. I am here now but before the contest I was a few feet to my right.

I still think many tanks on here are much nicer than mine and about my accomplishments to the hobby, that is just because I' am older than most people here (and in the world)

My tank, like me is very old and I really can't fit anything else in it. Being a Geezer and the fact that my wife isn't well, I am not sure how long I can keep my tank running as I have other more pressing issues now and probably for the foreseeable future.

Besides, I love Christmas and it is also my birthday. (I played Santa for decades) It's the season of giving so I would like to donate my prizes to @armyvetheather.

I have never met Armyvetheather, and I assume her name is Heather but I like anyone with Vet in their name. (you too Usarmy227 and also thank you for your service)

I don't think Heather was ever on one of my threads but I like her story and tank and she seems like a really nice person.

Oh my goodness, Paul! I don't even know what to say. I was amazed that I was even nominated but I am just shocked that you would donate your prizes to me. When the contest first started I saw everyone saying how great you are, but wow - this is just amazing. I'm seriously just shocked right now. So grateful!

I have also not had the pleasure of interacting with Paul but I definitely will now as I am always looking for amazing people to learn from. One of the other things I love about this hobby is the community and the amazing people that make it up, this is just another example of how great some people in this hobby really are.

Paul, once again, you've proven why you aren't just Mariner of the Month, but if a lifetime! Your contributions to all of our education and cheerleading our repeated attempts to keep our reefs going make you, in my eyes, one of the most important members of our community. This gesture toward Heather proves that you are a true gentleman, as well.

It only seems fitting that if, as a community, we can do anything to help you, your family, or even just your reef, we would be there for YOU. I don't know where you live, but I'm sure it's near some of us. Speaking as a fellow geezer, I'm in, if I can be.
