It looks like a xenia…but it’s neon. What coral is this?

My younger brother purchased these frags today and put them in the sandbed for me to place. They look like soft corals. Are these invasive? What are they called?

EDIT. Nevermind. I did a quick search to find out that they are clove polyps. Not good for me!

Why is it not good? Clove polyps can be gorgeous. They don’t grow as quickly as GSP or Xenia, they’re easy enough to keep contained.

Clove polyps are easier to contain than Xenia. I’ve had 2 kinds in my tank on the back wall for 2 years and they’ve stayed on the back wall. They haven’t self propagated all over the tank like Xenia. Keep them on an island if you don’t want them to creep and spread all over your rock work.
