It's easy to see when something is wrong with a softie, but what about LPS?

Zoas close, Ricordea shrink, etc. when something is bothering them, but what about LPS? I just got my first one and I don't know how to tell if they are "happy" or not.

They retract their polyps into their skeleton

Favias tend to shrink and not be as full. Branching things like hammers, duncans, candy canes, retract into their stalk or just don't fill out.
