What did you trade it for?

The coral at my LFS is usually lacking. Ever since COVID, it’s been really tough for them to get stock in. Their fish selection is usually really good, but their coral is lacking.

They have a HUGE elegance and shroom rock that’s always there - been there for over 3 years now.

(don’t get me wrong, they have a nice frag tank, but their pieces are expensive: $250 for a single head black torch? Ehhh no)
I didn’t trade anything the guy was just giving them out lol he had a bunch I’m still trying to find some people getting rid of there GSP so I can grab that

Sure thing!

Water is a tad low and the algae on the sand in still a concern. Since it’s raining heavily here today anyway, I will try to at least get that section off to the right taken care of.

It’s really improved beautifully, your tank is maturing nicely dude! Get those corals placed and watch it grow in, you’re gonna have a heck of a tank in no time. Algae doesn’t look too bad honestly, you’ve made great progress on that front. Keep up the good work!

I would say 5 months now?
My tank is 8 months and still no coralline. But that’s because I’m dosing vinegar and it’s lowering the PH (recently started saturating it with kalk, only seen a slight improvement in PH so far. . Also, I’m not dying to have it grow, it’s a good milestone in a tank’s life, but it really does become a nuisance.

Funny thing that coralline algae I didn’t think I had any either but for some reason it grew on my crabs shells and snails before it grew on the back of my tank it works in mysterious ways

Yeah, I’ve got quite a bit on various rocks that is growing, it’s just not spreading anywhere.

I think mine came in on some frag plugs from @Joe Knows Reefs.

The largest space they have covered so far, is that back panel of glass. It is on a lot of plugs as well as my inverts backs. No so much on the rocks yet. (Except the live rock)

Anyway, goodnight y’all. ;)
