Looks good! I have a hammer coral that does the same thing when it splits. It used to be really extended and fluffy, but it gets really compact during the splitting process.

Yours looks healthy and happy to me!
That’s good! Here’s a top shot of that helps:

@elorablue, here’s how the digi looks like:

(as you can see, tons of new growth, not no color or that hood of polyp extension.)

Yes much more PE. Would you say that colour I’m seeing is accurate?

It’s a little bit more red than in the photos, but not by that much.

There is a lot more green on the skeleton though, which is a good sign.

Good polyp extension on the digi! It’s looking a bit pale but maybe it’s just the picture. What are your nutrient levels and do you have any idea what par it’s under?

No, it’s still very pale. It used to look like this before the tank crashed

And the torch usually looks like this:

A nightmare!? How is yours a terrorist, lol.

If I get too many, I’ll sell them to LFS in the blink of an eye. Money!! ;Woot ;Happy ;Greedy
It’s just constantly moving. It’ll seem like it’s finally found a spot it likes and will stay there for a week or two, and then out of the blue it’ll start wandering again, find a place it likes and stay there for a week or two, and the cycle continues. I keep having to move corals so it won’t sting them. Its just a hassle, and if/when it splits it’ll be twice as much work. I’m hoping my nem will stay put where it is now, it gets lots of light and flow and has a nice crevice to put its foot it, and is in a good spot aquascaping-wise. But I’m not holding my breath.

Oh, no clue on the par, but I will test levels after lunch.

Ok bro, it definitely needs more light and flow. That algae would not have taken hold so well with more flow. When you get the new light all will be hunky and dory.

So turn the flow up a little and wait it out until the new light gets in?

(I’m hoping for the best, that it will be delivered by next Friday, but I have absolutely no real date)

Honestly I would just leave everything as is until the light comes and then party time!

Be careful with the new light! If it’s a lot more powerful than the one you have, you’ll need to acclimate stuff slowly so they don’t bleach out.
