I would love to see that, do you have a link?
Here is his 100 gallon tank. If you click on his profile the first three he posted is his 45

Honestly I just LOVE a box of water, does not matter the coral type. Xenia dominate systems are stunning to me. I really like Gorgonian tanks with softies or nps.

Easy - A mature one that is self sustaining ecosystem with all types of organism living on the liverock, perfect balance of fish, placement of corals, and minimum rockscape.

I like me an LPS/softie tank personally.

Most everyone has seen this tank. It’s probably one of my all time favorites. It has a great sense of depth and the colors and textures are coordinated well.
I don’t think some of the corals are very realistic to keep long term though. It also applies the most basic of aquascaping techniques.

Note that the great sense of depth is helped by the 4 feet of depth in this tank!

The tank is 1,100 x 1,000 x 550 (mm)
So 3.6ft x 3.2ft x 1.8ft tall.
I agree with the great sense of depth comment!
So much easier with a deeper tank!!! To me this tank looks much larger than it really is!!! And the aquascape has a lot to do with that!! That would have been a lot harder to achieve without that 3 plus feet of depth!

I prefer mixed reefs, but do like SPS, LPS, softie dominant too - invert tanks and FO / FOWLR are cool too - this is absolutely one of my favorite jaw droppers - I wish he would update more often

A well-colored acros tank gets my vote. Maybe its my very high flow but have difficulty keeping acan gardens with my sps dominant tank

mixed for me.
and while I can appreciate SPS dominated tanks they aren't my cup of coffee (tea?) for my build.
I like to see a lot of movement with the flow.

I feel the same way and that's why I am making my 600g a mixed reef :)

To me I like the asthetic of a grown in tank with a mix of colors and textures. Not nessarily just textures of a mixed reef just variety (toadstool, leather, and zoas together for example) even if I was doing mainly a zoa garden for example id have to toss in something wavy and something with tall growth. I prefer depth or layers to rockwork where you can look into or behind structures and see different things but I've also seen some great reefs that weren't done this way.

I love aggressive tanks the most, but reef tank wise soft corals do it for me. I like a lot of lps to though.
