Dear All

i bought a jawbreaker mushroom back in April 2020 and it was having very good lining on yellow and a bit of green with crazy red coloration like the attached picture and now a days after one and half year it turns almost to completely red with a bit of yellow like the attached second picture
what do you think the reason behind the mushroom changing its color is due to 1) high light, 2) Nutrition, 3) or maybe flow

what's your idea ?

this is back on April 2020

Yep, coral is crazy.
I have had things completely change colors on me. Lights, environment all have a factor. As does some corals change as grow.

depends on lineage i guess? the poletti line seems to not be as red but really it’s just genetics
honestly for shrooms i believe the lighting factor is the most effective since I'm running very high lights i think it effect the mushrooms coloration but this is what i believe

Color will be determined by the zooxanthellae in the coral. These will be influenced by light and environment. So, they change.
yes i agree with you but the changes is dramatically its looks completely deferent like they are not the same mushroom
