Hmm, lace sponge usually doesn't like light. I would leave it alone really. They are more of a cryptic sponge. They can't fend off algae.

It’s weird how these things are coming

But, if you think it is irritating your zoas... I would remove it. I only have issues with the more photosynthetic sponges.
It’s not bothering the zoas it just closed the zoas for the picture the zoas open up perfectly fine on top of it

I forget what that rust is called.... But, it shows up when water goes out of balance. It will take a few months to go away.
Thank you for answer my questions lol. I’m guessing it would effect my test huh ?

It shouldn't. It will go away though. I cant even recall the name. It kind of behaves like coralline algae. No harm like red tide and dinoflags.
I did my weekly water change… I see no difference in my water quality between my fresh saltwater and my old water.. maybe I don’t have enough organics in my tank. My Duncan is ticked off by something

Corals look bleh today saw some film algae on the glass which is weird. Also see aiptasia growing day by day. And my corals seem aggravated by something I’m not sure what I’ll give it another week maybe I’m changing out too much water a week. I do 5 gallons

Hmm... There could be forced chemical warfare. You might be right.
Had a good experience with chemi pure blue and since I have readable phosphates I’m gonn try that again. If I see a problem with phosphates being to low. Reef roids to the rescue
