Now for the debate. Black sand or white sand?

I love the look of black sand but so many potential negatives.. shows dirt more than white, none reflective so it darkens tank, more than likely has metals in it, doesn’t provide any buffering benefit because it’s volcanic based.

Conflicting info on the pumps. Says it’s a 77gph pump(291 lph) that looks like a rio pump.
One shows a maxi jet like the 28 has.
I’d wager it looks like a rio.

A little pressure for this build. I want it to be perfect for him. The rock is key. I do not have mad rock skills.
No pressure. It’s practice.

You should have seen the first canopy I built. ;Blackeye

This little guy is getting some sleek sexy mods. I'm hoping to replicate some of yours for him. He seems to like exactly what most of y'all do. I guess I'll have to do a...dare I say it?...build thread. I'd love input and tips.

I actually got both pumps. I figured that way I could have a backup. I'm not comfortable with not having a spare. Maybe overkill, but...

Hey I know very little on nano, Triton needs 10x and people struggle to get that, just guessing that much flow will require lots of top off. Now here is a fun mod! HOB fuge or skimmer and that would serve both. just thinking

Anybody happen to know the mm of test vials for API? Looking for a rack so he doesn't knock them over when testing/ drying.
